HeliMods Founder and Managing Director, Will Shrapnel, delivered a powerful keynote speech at Siemens Digitalize in Brisbane this week.
The Digitalize conference focuses on the process of digitization across key sectors, with the theme this year of “Unlock the Potential”, providing a platform for Australian businesses to understand how to use digitalisation to their advantage. Will was invited by CEO and Chairman of Siemens to share insights on HeliMods’ journey to becoming Industry 4.0 leaders.
Will’s top tips to being successful through the Industry 4.0 revolution included:
- You need a growth and investment MINDSET and to take a long term view from day one
- Invest and continually re-invest in the best TECH stack
- Back top YOUNG talent to drive and lead new and emerging tech
- Implement new and unconventional business models that promote NETWORKS instead of hierarchies
